Jordanian field hospital Nablus 9 begins providing medical services

Amman, December 21 (Petra) -- The Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus 9 on Sunday began receiving patients and visitors, providing medical and treatment services to residents of Nablus as part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to support the health sector in the occupied West Bank.
The hospital's commander said the facility began operating at full capacity from its first day of operation, utilising all available resources and embodying the humanitarian and medical mission carried out by its staff.
He affirmed the hospital's commitment to delivering the highest standards of safe and comprehensive healthcare for all medical conditions.
He noted that the hospital treated 457 patients on its first day of operation. Services included minor surgical procedures, follow-up care for chronic illnesses, laboratory testing and emergency internal medicine cases.
All services were provided through specialised clinics equipped to the highest medical standards.
The hospital comprises clinics in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ENT), dentistry and general medicine.
It is also equipped with two operating rooms one major and one minor two intensive care units, a laboratory, radiology and sterilisation departments and a pharmacy.
Services are delivered by a qualified medical team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
Residents expressed gratitude and appreciation to Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, for its supportive stance toward the Palestinian people.
