Amman, Dec. 21 (Petra) – Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) recorded "strong" performance in air traffic last month after welcoming 782,481 passengers, marking a 25.8% increase, compared to the same month in 2024, announced Airport International Group (AIG).

According to the AIG statement Sunday, aircraft movements rose to 6,846, up 26.9%, while air cargo increased to 6,164 tons, marking a 2.0% rise, compared to November 2024.

During the first eleven months of the year, QAIA received 8,921,229 passengers, up 10.3 percent year-on-year.

Aircraft movements reached 73,249, an 8.5 percent increase, while air cargo totaled 64,237 tons, reflecting an 8.0 percent decrease.

CEO Nicola Duvillier said, "Every achievement at Queen Alia International Airport is a testament to the trust our passengers place in Jordan’s main air gateway." He added that the continuous growth in air traffic reflects the airport group’s strong regional position and the dedication of its teams and partners in providing a seamless and welcoming journey for travelers.
