Petra, Sept 15 (Petra) – Syrian singer Nassif Zeytoun described the ancient city of Petra as one of the most beautiful wonders of the world, highlighting its exceptional human heritage and urging people from around the globe to visit Jordan, and Petra in particular, to experience its grandeur and rich cultural legacy.

In a video clip following his visit, Zeytoun toured Petra from the Siq entrance to the Treasury, passing several of the city’s renowned archaeological landmarks.

He expressed deep admiration for the site’s aesthetic and historical value, noting that it is one of UNESCO’s most prominent World Heritage sites.

Yazan Mahadin, Commissioner of the Petra Archeology Park and Tourism at the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA), said that visits by Arab and international celebrities underscore Petra’s global significance as a leading cultural and tourist destination. He added that such visits help promote the site internationally and support local communities benefiting from tourism.

PDTRA has increasingly focused on attracting public figures and celebrities to highlight Petra’s heritage and cultural value, having recently hosted global stars including Spanish footballers Iker Casillas and Miguel Salgado, along with numerous Arab and international influencers.
