Amman, Oct. 23 (Petra) -- The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) welcomed a delegation of Japanese students, as part of the Leadership for Schools Program, one of the Foundation’s key initiatives under its leadership track. The program is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
The visit aimed to enhance cultural and educational exchange between youth in Jordan and Japan, fostering dialogue and cooperation in the fields of education, leadership, and social responsibility.
During the visit, the Japanese delegation was introduced to the Foundation’s programs, initiatives, and opportunities designed to empower young people across Jordan’s governorates. The students also met with participants of the Leadership for Schools Program, who had previously taken part in the program’s cultural exchange component in Japan.
Both Jordanian and Japanese students shared their educational and cultural experiences in an open discussion attended by representatives from the Ministries of Education of both countries.
The visit also featured presentations by Jordanian students highlighting the program’s impact on developing their leadership and teamwork skills, as well as Japanese student performances showcasing their culture and traditions.
The Leadership for Schools Program seeks to instill the values of active citizenship, national pride, and community engagement among public school students, targeting those in the eighth grade. The program offers workshops and specialized training focused on leadership, teamwork, and volunteerism.
