Amman, Oct. 22 (Petra) The Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported a house fire on the fourth floor of a residential building on Al-Hosn Street in Irbid.

Specialized teams from the West Irbid Civil Defense Directorate promptly responded, working to extinguish and contain the blaze.

One woman died as a result of the incident, while two other ladies experienced breathing problems. Before being transferred to Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, where the fatality was also carried, they were given first assistance on the spot.

An investigation will be launched to determine the cause of the fire.
