600 young entrepreneurs, SMEs owners schowcase experiences in GEW celebration

Amman, Nov. 19 (Petra) – The Ministry of Youth on Wednesday held an entrepreneurship forum to mark Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
The event saw the participation of over 600 young entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
During the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Youth Dr. Raed Adwan, in the presence of Minister of Labor Dr. Khaled Bakkar, said the week presents a "significant" opportunity to celebrate ambitious youth ideas and projects.
Adwan added that entrepreneurship, education, and technology are "key" pillars of the National Youth Strategy, which is the basis of programs and projects implemented within the ministry's plans and affiliated youth centers.
Adwan also highlighted the forum's importance in providing youth and entrepreneurial projects with networking opportunities with supporting entities.
The forum's activities featured a panel dialogue focusing enhancing motivation, as speakers represented Jordan's entrepreneurship and innovation sectors in various public and private institutions.
Meanwhile, the event also featured a session on the power of technology in business development, as entrepreneurs spoke about AI, digital tools and project market accessibility, as well as support for technological solutions to address the challenges facing the entrepreneurial sector.
During the forum's activities, an exhibition for entrepreneurial projects from institutions and university centers for entrepreneurship and innovation was held, and small and medium-sized youth projects were showcased.
Adwan toured the exhibition and the entrepreneurial business venues.
