Amman, Nov. 17 (Petra) -- Temperatures are expected to be slightly higher than recent days on Monday, settling near their typical seasonal levels as pleasant autumn weather prevails across most regions.

Conditions remain mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes and moderate southeasterly winds.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, Tuesday will maintain similar autumn-like conditions, with mild weather in low-lying areas and medium to high clouds especially over eastern regions. Southeasterly winds are forecast to be moderate but may become active at intervals, stirring dust in desert areas.

A slight uptick in temperatures is anticipated on Wednesday, bringing pleasant conditions over high mountain areas and mild weather elsewhere. Winds will continue from the southeast, occasionally becoming active and raising dust, particularly in desert regions.

Temperatures will continue to trend upward on Thursday, with generally mild conditions expected and southeasterly winds that may become active at times.

Monday’s forecast places temperatures at 21 C–13 C in East Amman and 19 C–11 C in West Amman, while readings in the northern highlands are expected to reach 17 C–10 C.

Further south, the Sharah highlands will record 18 C–9 C, whereas desert regions will see 24 C–12 C. In the plains, temperatures are projected at 22 C–12 C, and across the northern valley they will reach 26 C–16 C.

Conditions become warmer in the southern valley at 29 C–21 C, with the Dead Sea registering 27 C–19 C and Aqaba rounding out the forecast at 28 C–18 C.
