Foreign Ministry SG, Indian Assistant Minister sign cooperation memos

Amman, December 16 (Petra) – Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Dhaifallah Fayez and Secretary (South) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India Neena Malhotra signed several memoranda of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation.
Signed on the sidelines of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Kingdom, Jordan's Ministry of Water and Irrigation and India's Ministry of Water Resources signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in water resources management and development.
Jordan's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy signed a memorandum f understanding on cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
The two sides signed a cultural exchange programme for cooperation between the governments for the period 2025–2029, a twinning agreement between the city of Petra and the Ellora Caves and a letter of intent for cooperation in the field of digital transformation.
These agreements aim to broaden the scope of cooperation between Jordan and India and to strengthen the partnership in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
