Education Ministry Stresses Strengthening Teacher Club Cooperation to Support Educational Sector

Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs Nawaf Al-Ajarmeh underscored the need to enhance cooperation among Teachers’ Clubs to better serve the educational field and to continue keeping these clubs open to teachers as educational, cultural, and sports spaces envisioned by the Hashemite leadership as havens of knowledge, learning, and belonging.
Chairing a meeting of Teachers’ Club directors from across the Kingdom, attended by the Director of Educational Activities and the Director of the Teachers’ Clubs Directorate on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, Al-Ajarmeh highlighted the government’s ongoing support for the clubs, guided by the Prime Minister and closely followed up by the Minister of Education. He commended all those contributing to the advancement of this national educational initiative.
For their part, the club directors expressed appreciation for the continued support, affirming on behalf of teachers their commitment to ongoing dedication and service in the education sector.
Separately, the Director of the Teachers’ Clubs Directorate held a coordination meeting with club directors to prepare for the 22nd "Birth of the Leader" Sports Tournament, to be hosted by the Aqaba Teachers’ Club in January 2026, and the 3rd HRH the Crown Prince’s Women’s Tournament, to be hosted by the Irbid Teachers’ Club in February 2026. The discussions covered approved games, logistical arrangements, and technical preparations to ensure the success of both events.
