Education Minister Praises QRAEE Association for Promoting Culture of Excellence

Amman, Oct. 8 (Petra) – Minister of Education Azmi Mahafzah praised the efforts of the Association of the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education (QRAEE) for its work in promoting and strengthening a culture of excellence within the education ecosystem.
The remarks came during the quarterly meeting of the Institutionalization Committee between the Ministry and the Association, where the main achievements of the Institutionalization Program for the past academic year were reviewed, and the operational plan for the new academic year (2025/2026) was launched. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors Izz Eddin Katkhuda, Executive Director Lubna Toukan, and members of the committee.
Katkhuda expressed his gratitude to the Ministry for its continued support, describing it as a strategic partner, and commended its dedicated efforts to leverage opportunities for deepening and spreading the culture of educational excellence to achieve positive impact in the education field, noting that this partnership has now entered its twentieth year.
Toukan presented the achievements of the previous academic year’s operational plan (2024/2025) and launched the new plan for (2025/2026).
Tukan and the Association’s team highlighted key accomplishments of this year’s Institutionalization Program, including the rollout of excellence initiatives in the education field such as Interactive Walls, Joyful Classroom, Math Toolkit, E-Library, and My Beautiful Environment.
They also shared results from the plan to utilize kindergartens as centers of expertise and outcomes from piloting the Kindergarten Toolkit.
During the meeting, quantitative and qualitative indicators were presented regarding the awards and excellence programs for the academic year (2024/2025), including excellence-supporting directorates, excellence-supporting schools in their first cycle, and individual awards (both qualitative and quantitative).
