Amman, Nov. 20 (Petra) -- Weather conditions on Thursday are expected to be pleasant over the high mountain areas and mild across the rest of the regions, with high clouds appearing throughout the day. Southeasterly winds will remain moderate, becoming active at times, particularly in desert areas.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, temperatures will edge up slightly on Friday, rising about 6 to 7 degrees above their typical averages for this time of year. The weather will be generally mild, accompanied by moderate southeasterly winds.

Looking ahead to Saturday, a slight drop in temperatures is anticipated, though conditions will remain mild overall with similar wind patterns. Another small decrease follows on Sunday, bringing pleasant weather over higher elevations and mild conditions elsewhere, with steady southeasterly winds.

Thursday’s temperatures range from 23 C–12 C in East Amman and 21 C–10 C in West Amman, while the northern highlands are forecast at 20 C–10 C and the Sharah highlands at 22 C–9 C.

Desert regions will see 26 C–14 C, the plains 24 C–12 C, the northern valley 31 C–19 C, the southern valley 31 C–23 C, the Dead Sea 31 C–21 C, and Aqaba 32 C–22 C.
