Amman, Nov. 17 (Petra) -- Samsung Electronics Levant has concluded the second edition of its free advanced training program in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and programming, offered under the company’s "Samsung Innovation" initiative.

According to a statement issued by the company on Monday, the initiative is one of Samsung’s flagship corporate social responsibility programs and a leading global educational effort in the ICT sector. It aims to equip young people with the digital skills needed to keep pace with rapid technological change and to compete effectively in the job market.

This year’s cohort saw a significant expansion in youth participation. A total of 784 applicants sought to join the program, with 130 trainees ultimately enrolled. Of these, 89 participants graduated, compared with 41 graduates in Jordan and Iraq during the first cycle.

Jordan recorded a remarkable 245% increase in the number of students earning certificates of completion and distinction compared to the previous edition.

The nine-week program, totaling 270 hours, combined theoretical and practical training in artificial intelligence with interactive weekly live sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and continuous round-the-clock support throughout the week.

Jongho Kang, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Levant, said the company will continue offering such programs, noting that they help prepare a new generation of innovative leaders capable of transforming knowledge into real solutions that make a tangible impact in their communities.
