Amman, Dec. 17 (Petra)- His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal visited the Politics and Society Institute on Wednesday to review its key achievements and its research and intellectual programs, in the presence of a group of researchers, writers and leading thinkers.

During the meeting, Prince El Hassan underscored the importance of this intellectual gathering, stressing that the intellectual foundation constitutes a main starting point for any development process, particularly in research centers and public policy-making.

He addressed the role of artificial intelligence and modern technology in supporting scientific research, pointing to the potential for employing them across various sectors, including agriculture, through developing technical mechanisms that contribute to the creation of a national index for farmers in Jordan, thereby enhancing planning efficiency and sustainability.

Prince El Hassan stressed the importance of integration among peoples, affirming in this context that "a human being does not abandon his fellow human being," in reference to the humanitarian and ethical dimension of joint cooperation.

In his remarks on youth, he stressed the necessity of involving them in all dialogues and called for commitment to moderation and absolute objectivity in presentation and discussion, considering that the human element is the fundamental pillar of any process of development or advancement.

He also emphasized the importance of directing such meetings toward youth and that they be grounded in honesty in dialogue and public action.

At the conclusion of the visit, Prince El Hassan toured the institute’s departments and reviewed its working mechanisms and research programs, praising the institute’s role in promoting intellectual dialogue and policy-making based on research and knowledge.
