Light Rain Showers, Cool Weather Forecast Sunday

Amman, Nov. 16 (Petra)-- Weather conditions on Sunday are expected to be foggy during the morning hours, particularly over the highlands, with slightly cool temperatures prevailing in most regions and low-altitude clouds appearing.
Light rain showers are forecast in parts of the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, as well as in portions of the eastern areas and the southwestern highlands. Winds will be moderate and westerly. Gradually, during the afternoon hours, chances of rainfall diminish and conditions tend to stabilize.
The Jordan Meteorological Department warns of reduced horizontal visibility, sometimes to zero, during the early morning and late-night hours due to fog over mountainous areas, parts of the desert, and plains. It also cautions motorists about the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
According to the report, temperatures will rise slightly on Monday, with mild weather expected across most regions and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds will appear, and winds will be moderate and southeasterly.

On Wednesday, the weather will be generally mild, with moderate southeasterly winds that may become active at intervals and raise dust, particularly in desert areas.
Temperatures in East Amman today range between 17C and 11C, while in West Amman they stand at 15C to 9C. In the northern highlands, temperatures range between 13C and 7C, and in the Sharah highlands between 14C and 6C.
Desert areas are expected to see 21C to 8C, while the plains will record 18C to 12C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures range between 25C and 13C; in the southern Jordan Valley 27C to 16C; at the Dead Sea 26C to 15C; and in Aqaba 28C to 17C.
