Amman, Nov. 5 (Petra) -- The Jordanian gaming summit Pocket Gamer Connects 2025 will launch in Aqaba from November 8–9 under Royal patronage.
In remarks to "Petra" Wednesday, Nour Khrais, founder and CEO of Maysalward, a Jordanian mobile game development company, said the summit will bring together leading experts and game developers from around the world as speakers, exhibitors, and panel participants.
Khrais stated the event will open with an overview of the Jordanian game development landscape, followed by sessions to explore the future of the gaming industry in the Middle East and globally.
Discussions will also focus on empowering regional developers, evolution of the mobile gaming market, and role of artificial intelligence in interactive design. The summit will also feature an advanced workshop on game business development targeting emerging talent and new entrepreneurs, he noted.
Khrais added that the summit will host a special ceremony, themed: "Top 30 Game Developers in the Middle East and North Africa", celebrating "outstanding" talents and companies that have advanced the gaming industry across the region and showcasing success stories that have shaped the Arab gaming scene.
Additionally, he noted the event will serve as a "strategic" platform to reinforce Jordan’s position as a "regional hub" for digital creativity and game development, while fostering international partnerships and knowledge exchange to support the growth of this dynamic sector.
