Amman, Nov. 18 (Petra) -- Saudi Arabia’s Emaar Hospitality is setting its sights firmly on Jordan, with the company’s CEO, Anas Ammar, praising the Kingdom’s stable and transparent investment climate. He noted that Jordan’s clear regulatory framework and the momentum created by His Majesty King Abdullah II’s Economic Modernization Vision have strengthened investor confidence and made the country an increasingly attractive destination for growth.

Speaking during a ceremony in Amman honoring Jordanian and Palestinian partner companies, and attended by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hijazin and Jordan Chamber of Commerce President Senator Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, Ammar said that Emaar sees Jordan as a natural gateway for regional expansion.

He explained that Emaar currently operates in Jordan through three branches that support everything from Umrah services to operational coordination, with a main office playing a key role in the company’s day-to-day activities.

Ammar disclosed that the company is preparing to unveil new investments, including a major wellness and therapeutic tourism project in Ajloun. He added that several proposed sites have already been reviewed and emphasized that there is strong official backing for these initiatives.

Emaar Hospitality, founded in 1998, now manages 32 hotels, 11,000 rooms, and 36,000 beds across 19 international locations.

Fadil Munakeal, CEO of Worth Hotels in Saudi Arabia, an Emaar subsidiary, echoed the sentiment, describing Jordan as a promising and welcoming investment destination. He highlighted the country’s rich cultural, historical, and religious appeal, saying it offers an ideal environment for tourism-driven ventures.

Munakeal confirmed that the company is moving ahead with plans to build an integrated wellness resort in Ajloun, combining therapeutic services with high-quality hospitality, and contributing to the continued growth of Jordan’s tourism sector.
