Amman, Dec 14 (Petra)- The El Hassan Youth Award on Sunday held its second coordination meeting at the Martyrs of the Battle of Al-Karameh Camp, continuing discussions on the action plan for the upcoming school year and ways to increase the number of participants and graduates in the award’s programs.

According to a statement by the award, the meeting addressed mechanisms to develop fieldwork, activate the role of liaison officers across the governorates, and strengthen cooperation with schools in a way that contributes to expanding the base of students benefiting from the award’s programs and consolidating its presence in the school environment, in addition to explaining the basics of the computerized award record.

Liaison officers commended the support of the Ministry of Education for its impact in facilitating the implementation of programs within schools, expanding student participation, and ensuring the continuity of the award’s programs and the achievement of their objectives.

Director of Educational Activities at the Ministry of Education Abdul Hakim Al-Shawabkeh stressed the importance of continuing the partnership between the ministry and the award, noting the pivotal role of such programs in motivating students, developing their personal and life skills, and enhancing a culture of volunteer work.

In the presence of the Minister of Education’s adviser for Scouts and Girl Guides, Raeda Badr, Al-Shawabkeh emphasized the importance of inclusive education and the need to involve students with disabilities in the award’s programs in a manner that ensures equal opportunities and promotes the values of justice and social inclusion.

Al-Shawabkeh pointed to the award’s role in attracting participants from various institutions and groups, affirming that the award represents a national model in providing opportunities for all students to participate in purposeful youth programs.

The meeting comes as part of a series of coordination meetings held by the Al Hassan Youth Award with its partners as part of its commitment to developing its programs and expanding their educational and youth impact across the Kingdom.
