Amman, October 28 (Petra) -- Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II is participating on Tuesday in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference in Riyadh: "Key to Prosperity." The conference brings together heads of state, representatives of international companies and leading global investors.

Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh, who is taking part in the conference, said Jordan's participation affirms the Kingdom's position as a safe and attractive investment destination in the region.

He added that the event provides an opportunity to present a portfolio of large, medium and small investment projects within an integrated vision aimed at enhancing the business environment and supporting sustainable economic growth.

Abu Ghazaleh noted that through its participation, the Ministry seeks to highlight Jordan's role as a regional logistics and trade hub linking regional markets and supporting supply chains.

He pointed to opportunities related to the recovery and reconstruction process in Syria and the promotion of industrial cooperation through production and assembly partnerships targeting regional markets.

He stressed that the FII Conference represents an important platform to expand investment partnerships and showcase opportunities in promising sectors such as transportation, logistics, energy, tourism and technology.

One of the world's leading economic forums, the Future Investment Initiative serves as a key platform for discussing global economic shifts and future growth prospects.

This year's edition features more than 600 speakers participating in 250 sessions that explore ways to balance progress, innovation and resource sustainability, with more than 8,000 participants from 90 countries.

Jordan's participation reflects ongoing national efforts to strengthen confidence in the Kingdom's investment environment and reinforce its regional and international presence within the framework of the Economic Modernisation Vision 2033, which seeks to attract high-value investments and create sustainable employment opportunities.
