Amman, Sep. 9 (Petra) – The Arab Potash Company (APC) announced Tuesday the renewal of its general agreement with Sinochem Fertilizer Macao, under which Jordanian potash products will continue to be marketed in China from 2026 through the end of 2028.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Shehadeh Abu Hdeib, Chairperson of Arab Potash, and, Wang Tielin, CEO of Sinofert, the parent company of Sinochem, with Arab Potash CEO, Maen Nsour, and Deputy General Manager of Sinofert, Chen Shengnan, formalizing the deal.

Under the agreement, Sinochem remains the exclusive agent for Jordanian potash in the Chinese market, reinforcing the APC’s presence in one of the world’s largest fertilizer markets and supporting its supply of strategic markets with high-quality products.

Abu Hdeib described the renewal as a milestone that extends beyond commercial cooperation, forming a strategic alliance that strengthens Jordan’s footprint in a key global agricultural market. He noted that the partnership highlights Jordan Potash’s international reputation as a reliable fertilizer exporter and reflects the success of long-term collaborations based on trust and shared objectives.

Nsour emphasized that the renewed agreement enhances the APC’s role in global agricultural supply chains and reinforces the company’s commitment to high-quality standards. He added that the partnership not only consolidates the APC’s position in China but also strengthens its global market presence, contributing to efforts to ensure global food security.

Wang underlined the company's pride in the continued partnership, describing it as a key step in deepening trade relations between China and Jordan while supporting the Sinochem’s mission to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to the agricultural sector.
