RCJA releases report on "Discontent with Israeli Policies"

Amman, Sep.25 (Petra) - The Amman-based Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs (RCJA) has issued the first issue of its new monthly report, themed: "Discontent with Israeli Policies: For a More Just World," for the month of August.

The report, which was drafted by Director of RCJA Studies Unit, Dr. Nasr Shqirat, and Director of Public Relations and Media, Sawsan Kilani, provided a monthly survey of the state of global discontent against Israel.

In this context, the report referred to Israeli and Jewish voices that reject Zionist ideology and Israel's colonial and genocidal policies against the Palestinian people.

In a statement to "Petra" Thursday, RCJA Secretary General , Abdullah Kanaan, said this report represents part of the committee's awareness-raising, media, and educational efforts, focusing on Jerusalem and exposing the Israeli policies that target the holy city.

Kanaan noted Israel seeks to create an international political and media environment to implement its plans.

However, he noted global discontent constitutes an important pressure force that contributes to intensifying global efforts to deter the Israeli occupation and expose its practices.

Under its several sections, the document elaborates discontent areas and the active players behind this effort, including international and local legal, humanitarian, and religious organizations, as well as global figures, mainly state heads, diplomats, thinkers, writers, and intellectuals.

The report showed academic, artistic, media, and sports circles, and even grassroots initiatives demonstrated dissatisfaction with Israel's policies.

This diversity and global unanimity rejecting Israeli policies highlights the Israeli occupation's arrogance and simultaneously reflects a human community demanding a more just world, the report revealed.
