Amman, Sept. 19 (Petra)-- Mohammad Al-Qur'an- In order to gather opinions and recommendations from the educational community, the National Center for Curriculum Development (NCCD) launched a platform.

On its official website, the NCCD announced the opening of a new electronic platform for submitting comments and recommendations on books and curricula for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade, which coincided with the beginning of the new school year.

In order to ensure that the curriculum is in line with the needs of the country and its students as well as current scientific and educational advancements, the center hopes to fortify community partnerships and involve all relevant parties in the educational process, including teachers, parents, students, and educational experts, in the continuous curriculum development process.

Mohammad Kanana, the director of NCCD, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the online platform's inauguration is a good way to connect with all facets of society and create a genuine collaboration that advances education.

In developing educational techniques and enhancing the caliber of curricula and educational content, he continued, the platform reflects the idea of shared national responsibility while keeping up with contemporary demands and satisfying the goals of teachers, parents, and students.

In order for curricula to reflect societal aspirations and function as a major source for raising educational standards, Kanana noted that curriculum development involves more than just updating content; it also entails fostering the values of interaction and participation. Following verification, the Center said that all viewpoints and recommendations made via the platform will be thoroughly examined by expert authoring teams. This guarantees that the educational context's feedback is used, that the comments are taken into consideration, and that educational content is created in a way that will improve education's quality, increase the effectiveness of its results, and prepare a generation that can adapt to changes and challenges in the future.

The Center urged everyone engaged in the educational process to use the platform via its website and take part in this nationwide initiative to improve curriculum and educational standards in Jordan.
