Amman, Sept. 22 (Petra) – Border guards at the Northern Military Region on Monday thwarted an attempt by an individual to illegally cross the country’s northern border within its area of responsibility.

The military said the person was apprehended after attempting to cross the border unlawfully. Rules of engagement were applied, and the individual was handed over to the relevant authorities.
