Amman, December 24 (Petra) Public Security Director Major General Obaidullah Maayta met on Wednesday Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom Guo Wei to discuss enhancing cooperation and coordination, with the aim of improving the quality of security and police services.

During the meeting, Maayta highlighted the depth and strength of the strategic relations across various fields, particularly in security, urging strengthening ties to facilitate the exchange of technical and training expertise and to benefit from the practical experiences of both sides.

For his part, Guo Wei praised the pioneering security and humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) at all levels. He underscored the importance of expanding the scope of partnership and cooperation in various areas of work and specialisation.
