Amman, Nov. 3 (Petra) -- Mild autumn air and calm skies will continue to shape the country’s weather through Thursday, bringing mild days, cool nights, and an occasional touch of cloud, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

On Monday, the weather will be moderate in most regions and relatively warm around the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with patches of medium and high clouds drifting across the sky. Southeasterly winds will blow at a moderate speed.

Tuesday will see a slight dip in temperatures, keeping conditions pleasantly mild overall. Light, scattered showers may fall briefly over northern and central areas in the morning, before skies clear later in the day. Southeasterly winds will remain moderate.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring steady, calm conditions, with mild afternoons, high, thin clouds, and light southeasterly breezes maintaining the tranquil autumn feel.

Temperature readings for Monday show highs and lows of 31 and 17 degrees Celsius in East Amman, 29 and 16 in West Amman, 29 and 16 in the northern highlands, and 28 and 15 in the Sharah highlands.

In desert areas, temperatures will range between 32 and 15 degrees, while the plains are expected to record 31 and 16 degrees. The northern Jordan Valley will see 36 and 20 degrees, compared to 35 and 22 degrees in the southern Jordan Valley.

Around the Dead Sea, temperatures will reach 35 and 22 degrees, and 36 and 21 degrees in Aqaba.
