Amman, December 9 (Petra) – Zeid Hourani, a student from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan (UJ), has qualified to represent Jordan and the university in the final competitions of the 3rd edition of the Digital Creator Awards (DCA) 2025 in Qatar.

Set to compete in the Humanitarian Impact category, Hourani was selected as one of only five Arab talents to reach the semi-final stage.

According to a university statement issued Tuesday, this achievement marks a "new milestone" in the field of "meaningful" content creation and underscores potentials of the UJ's students to transform their humanitarian messages into "impactful" digital works that resonate with audiences and reflect their presence in Arab creativity lansacpe.

Launched in 2023, the Content Creators Awards is one of the key Arab platforms to celebrate innovative ideas and authentic talent, giving participants a chance to shine.

The university expressed its pride in Hourani's achievement in reaching this "prestigious" stage, noting that this "distinguished" presence is a testament to its students' capabilities, who can compete in the realm of contemporary content creation, despite the "fierce" competition.

Hourani, in turn, stated his participation in this competition and his advancement to this crucial stage is a "golden opportunity to leave a lasting impression." He also emphasized his "commitment" to creating content that resonates with audiences in a simple and human way, highlighting stories that deserve to be told.

Voting for Hourani is open via designated platforms and will continue through Wednesday evening.

The results will be announced on the same day during a grand ceremony attended by a select group of content creators, media personalities, and artists.
