Amman, Nov. 7 (Petra)-- Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman met with Kuwaiti Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of green economy, renewable energy, and environmental protection, on the sidelines of the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) held in Brazil.

The meeting addressed mechanisms for activating bilateral partnerships and exchanging expertise in implementing sustainable environmental and climate-related projects. The two sides also discussed coordinating joint positions to highlight the region’s priorities and concerns in international climate negotiations.

Both ministers emphasized the importance of deepening Arab cooperation to confront environmental challenges and accelerate the transition toward a green economy, in a way that supports sustainable development and enhances environmental security across the region.
